SPAGHETTI SUPPER
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2010
PURPOSE: To enable Rev. Banze Kiluba’s wife and children, who live in the Republic of Congo, to join him here in La Crosse while he completes his Clinical Pastoral Education at Gundersen Hospital and additional training in the U.S. which will qualify him to teach at Africa University, Zimbabwe.

HOSPITALITY HOUSE NEEDS
We always appreciate donations of everyday items for household maintainace such as cleaning material and toiletries.
What we need specifically are two dresser-drawer sets for two of the bedrooms. Most any size will do. We can arrange a pick-up.
We would also like for an individual or several people to take responsibility for the house yard. Creative lawn and flower plantings would lend an additional benefit for our guests, especially in the secluded and quiet back yard.
RELIGION AND CULTURE
Pastor Scott will be offering a course at Western Technical College on “Religion and Culture.” We will look at the often colorful past of religion in America, current trends, and projections of where things are going. This 12 hour course will be on Thursday evenings staring March 4, from 6 -8 PM. and can count as continuing education. You can register through the Life-Long Learning office.
