OUTREACH COMMITTEE Vision Statement-Our vision is growing in personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ, serving the needs of one another within our church family and serving our community through mission and ministry. Asbury is committed to serving the nutrition needs of those in the community. Members volunteer to deliver Mobile Meals once a month throughout the year. Baskets are located in the office hallway to collect food for pantries located at the Salvation Army, New Horizons Women's Shelter, WAFER, The Hunger Task Force and Place of Grace. Asbury participates in an ecumenical program called Monday Meals. Every nine weeks, members of the church prepare and serve a free evening meal for the 80-90 persons who meet at St. Luke's United Methodist Church on the north side of La Crosse. Several times a year special offerings are taken to provide funds to the local food pantry agencies.
